Envorem is pleased to announce that we have successfully hit our £300K fundraising target on Crowdcube, marking a significant step forward in our mission to deliver sustainable solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry. This will cover the cost of transport of equipment from the UK to Aramco’s Riyadh Refinery in Saudi Arabia as part of a $8.2 million project to clear a 500,000 M3 lagoon.

Three months on from ADIPEC 2024, the impact of Envorem’s participation is clear. Our innovative water-based, low-energy oil sludge remediation technology is driving real change and our collaboration with Aramco is a testament to that.

The event has strengthened our partnerships in the Middle East and reaffirmed our commitment to delivering practical, cost-effective and sustainable solutions for the oil and gas industry. We look forward to expanding our impact and continuing to work alongside industry leaders to drive environmental responsibility.

Envorem and Saudi Aramco collaborate to revolutionize sludge treatment at the Shaybah facility, showcasing innovative technology that reduces costs by 40%, cuts CO2 emissions by 332 metric tonnes, and achieves 97% waste diversion. Maritime waste, ship sludge or ‘waste ship-oil sludge’ (WSOS) as it is called is one of the environmental concerns Envorem is tackling as part of the company’s quest to decarbonise oil production and its waste products. Our founders Mark Batt-Rawden and Mike Levey weigh in on this aspect of their revolutionary green technology.

Envorem’s Chief Operations Engineer, Mike Bennett, has worked for Shell, BP, and Total at different points in his long career in the Oil Industry. Today he delivers these major corporations a ground-breaking solution to industrial waste that is inventive, proven and cost-effective. He could be described as a green tech innovator, however he modestly says, “I’m just an engineer doing my bit for the environment.”
