Envorem New Year Update, 2026
Happy New Year and a big thank you to all our stakeholders for their continued support. The backing of our investors has enabled Envorem to achieve significant technical and commercial milestones and we look forward to what 2026 will bring.
Reflections on 2025
Our first full-scale Envorem sludge remediation system was completed in Stoke-on-Trent in 2025 and shipped to Saudi Arabia. Following safe arrival, the equipment is now being commissioned at GESCO, which is a well-established Saudi waste contractor.
Together with GESCO, we are currently finalising projects in Saudi Arabia with the major players in oil and petrochemicals to clean their lagoons containing oil-contaminated sludge. GESCO has several sludge lagoons of its own. In the meantime, we will 'mine' these lagoons for oil, generating some early revenue.

Envorem on the move
With our focus in the Middle East, we have decided to move our Stoke facility to Saudi Arabia. This not only reduces costs and logistical complexity, but also supports our strategy to roll out systems across the region. With our equipment in position, some of the Envorem team are now out in Saudi Arabia.
Our Chief Operations Engineer, Mike Bennett, who brings decades of experience in the oil and gas sector, is overseeing field deployment and operational delivery on the ground. Jim and Mike are already deployed to Saudi and Dashe and the rest of the team will join them soon.
We were pleased to welcome James Keeling (Jim) to the team in May 2025, as Mechanical Engineer. Jim brings engineering and fabrication experience and has previously competed internationally in welding technologies.
John Grover also joined us in June 2025 as a new non-Exec Director. Based in Dubai, John brings extensive expertise in managing large-scale industrial projects across the Middle East, with a strong background in operations, logistics and local stakeholder engagement.
Dashe Iluyemi, who has been with Envorem for three years, also remains an integral part of the engineering team. He holds master’s degrees in both mechanical and renewable energy engineering.

Other highlights of 2025
In a major milestone for the company, Envorem was granted a United States patent in July 2025, further securing the intellectual property behind our green remediation system. The technology is now protected all across the US and Europe, with patents pending in Saudi Arabia, Canada and other key jurisdictions.
Our Managing Director, Mark Batt-Rawden, presented at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi in November, showcasing our work to decision-makers and environmental leaders across the Gulf region.
And, Envorem continued to raise significant venture capital in 2025, notably through a Crowdcube campaign in April and further Danube Angels events in Europe during the summer, underscoring investor confidence in the company and the substantial potential that lies ahead.

Envorem continues to offer the oil industry a cleaner, safer and more cost-effective alternative to sludge incineration or landfill. The support of our investors and partners remains essential as we move into the next phase and prepare to scale this solution globally.
We look forward to sharing further updates as 2026 unfolds.
