Envorem Reaches Key Milestone with Saudi System Deployment

Envorem’s modular sludge remediation system has been deployed and commissioned in Saudi Arabia, marking a huge step forward as the team prepares for large-scale industrial waste treatment projects in the region.

After many long days on site, in the hot desert sun and a lot of intricate engineering, it’s official: Envorem now has a fully commissioned system in Saudi Arabia which is ready to commence operations.

Following our New Year Update, this is a major milestone for the team. Our UK-built plant has been transported, assembled and commissioned in-region, giving Envorem real operational capability on the ground in one of the world’s most important industrial markets. This signals growth, credibility, and scale.

The system is currently situated at the GESCO waste management site near Jubail where it is positioned adjacent to the lagoon area as the photos show:

Built for real-world waste

Industrial sludge and challenging waste streams don’t politely fit into neat categories. That’s exactly why the Envorem system is designed to be modular, mobile and field-ready – combining sludge handling, water treatment and separation technology into a practical plant that can be deployed where it’s needed.

The installed system includes:

  • containerised processing units

  • water tanks for treated and untreated streams

  • a flotation tank as part of the water processing system

  • integrated pumps, controls and mixing equipment

The Team Behind the Saudi Milestone

“Getting our system fully assembled in Saudi Arabia is a major accomplishment for our team and our investors, who made this possible,” says Envorem Managing Director, Mark Batt-Rawden.

“It shows that our technology can be deployed internationally and positioned on site, ready to tackle some of the most challenging industrial waste streams and support large-scale remediation projects.

“I’m extremely proud of the Envorem team who’ve worked tirelessly to assemble and commission the plant in demanding conditions.”

In addition to Mark, the team on the ground in Saudi Arabia has included Mike Levey, Co-founder; Mike Bennett, Chief Operations Officer; Dashe Iluyemi, Design & Development Engineer; and Jim Keeling, Mechanical Engineer. They have been supported by specialist contractors who assisted with the setup.

Together, the team worked through the practical challenges of assembling and commissioning the plant on site, ensuring the system is ready for the next phase of deployment.

What’s next

With installation now complete, we’re in a strong position to support projects across the region and to explore new opportunities as they arise. We’ll be sharing more updates as site activity progresses including results, insights and what we’re learning as we expand our footprint.

The Saudi installation provides Envorem with a strategic platform for future remediation projects across the Middle East as demand grows for more efficient industrial waste treatment solutions.
