Envorem welcomes John Grover as Middle East Director
John Grover, Envorem’s new Middle East Director, brings four decades of international oil and gas expertise to support regional growth and environmental innovation.
As Envorem expands, with our latest project in Saudi Arabia, we are pleased to welcome, John Grover to the company who is an international leader in oil and gas services.
John, who has been appointed as our new Middle East Director (Non Exec) brings with him a wealth of experience from nearly four decades in the oil and gas services sector, including senior roles at BJ Services, GE-PII, Baker Hughes, Cape PLC, Sparrows Group and most recently EnerMech.
John’s international career has seen him lead operations across key markets including India, China, the Caspian, Russia, Australia, Turkey, Mozambique and throughout the Gulf. This makes him ideally placed to support Envorem’s strategic development and engagement across the region.
At Baker Hughes, he managed a $325 million business unit spanning 28 countries and over 850 staff. His leadership delivered revenue and earnings growth exceeding 50% between 2010 and 2015.
He later served as Managing Director of Cape Specialist Services, overseeing an environmental and construction services portfolio generating £100 million in annual revenue. At Sparrows Group, he helped expand the company’s footprint in the GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE), especially in the rental cranes and drilling services sectors.
In his current position as Strategic Sales Director at EnerMech, John is responsible for positioning the business for entry into new territories and larger, more complex projects. Under his leadership, the company’s pipelines and subsea product line doubled in size and now contributes nearly a quarter of EnerMech’s annual revenue.
