Find us in the Decarbonisation Zone, Stand 12245B – Envorem to Exhibit in UAE

We're pleased to announce that Envorem will be part of the Decarbonisation Zone at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi, UAE from 2-5 October 2023. We look forward to taking our place among over 2000 companies to present our green tech solution to the oil industry which has five immediate decarbonisation benefits.

Hosted by ADNOC, AIPEC will feature 2,200 companies and 30 country pavilions showcasing the latest innovations defining the future of energy. “We will be presenting our ground-breaking green technology that inexpensively cleans and recycles byproducts of oil production,” said Envorem Managing Director, Mark Batt-Rawden. “This offers oil producers the means to improve their ESG performance whilst potentially reducing waste disposal costs.”

Envorem & Decarbonisation

At Envorem, we have developed a green technology that is fast, inexpensive and effective. Using very little energy and a green process, we can help oil producers recycle their oily materials, cleaning the sediments and recovering oil and water for recycling. With throughputs of up to 100m3 per hour, the industry finally has a viable way to process these materials with sufficient scale to rapidly clear legacy deposits.

The great news is that cost should be less than current processes and the value of the recovered materials provides a further offset. It’s a true win-win for the oil producers and the environment.

Remediation of highly contaminated production byproducts today mainly takes the form of incineration or thermal desorption. Some companies try centrifuges but these struggle with heavy oils and do little other than recover some of the free oil leaving behind a residue that is still contaminated and hazardous. Our water-based cleaning solution has the least environmental impact by far. It is also surprisingly cost-effective, provides for maximum hydrocarbon recovery and is suitable for both soil and all kinds of sludges. See Technology Comparison.

Eco Magazine recently reported on Envorem’s ability to deliver decarbonisation targets in an article entitled Envorem Develops Innovative Greentech to Clean Oily Sludges. They quoted Mark as follows: “As the world transitions towards a low-carbon future it is crucial that we continue to mitigate against the environmental impact of ongoing oil production and ensure the legacy pollution is addressed. Now we can remove the barriers to act differently by providing a way to spend less and simultaneously reduce pollution.”

Envorem at ADIPEC and other Events

Envorem has previously participated in conferences and events in the UK and the Middle East. Mark Batt-Rawden was a speaker at the New Energy Oman Conference in London and part of a panel session focusing on ‘Decarbonising the Oil and Gas Process’. We were part of the British Pavilion at Oman Sustainability Week in March 2022 (left) and the Middle East Produced Water Oil & Gas Symposium & Exhibition in Alkhobar, Saudi Arabia (right).

ADIPEC offers “an unparalleled opportunity for buyers and sellers to meet, learn, network, do business and discover new products, solutions, technologies and innovations providing a world-class environment for trade across the industry’s full value chain.” We look forward to interacting with delegates to ADIPEC from our stand in the Decarbonisation Zone,
