Envorem’s Green Technology combines more than a decade of research, development and testing. This culminated in a large scale pilot project which proved our technology treats oil contaminated sludges and soil quickly and inexpensively and in a more environmentally responsible and sustainable manner than current approaches. So what’s the next step. Envorem News spoke to the companies chief engineer, Ben Monkton.

Envorem is to build the world's largest greentech system for treating production wastes in what is a world first. Envorem MD, Mark Batt-Rawden made the announcement on 22 November at the Middle East Produced Water Oil & Gas Symposium & Exhibition in Saudi Arabia.

Our Chief Engineer Ben Monkton understands the challenges the oil and gas industry faces as well as the mindsets that need to be adjusted. “I think the industry is starting to shift towards being more accountable,” he says. “At Envorem, we see new technology as a game changer for the industry and environment.”

Envorem’s groundbreaking green technology is a low-cost solution to clean up many bi-products from oil production. It will be presented for the first time in public at the Middle East Produced Water Oil & Gas Symposium & Exhibition in November.

Envorem’s chief engineer, Benjamin Monkton is using his engineering skills to perfect the Envorem Sludge Remediation System with a vision to roll out a fleet of these clean-up plants in oil sludge lagoons and tailings ponds across the Middle East.

“The Envorem pilot project in Oman has been enhanced to produce five tonnes an hour,” says Managing Director, Mark Batt-Rawden, “and we anticipate we can increase production as much as five times beyond that. So this is more than 10 times as much as our original system.”

Envorem MD, Mark Batt-Rawden was pleased to participate in the New Energy in Oman Conference held in London recently. Envorem already has a budding partnership with the Sultanate having conducted its pilot project in Muscat.
